FIA Approved Bucket Seat Mount for Sports Seats

This bucket seat mount for sports seats consists of two steel side brackets with which you fix a bucket seat firmly in your car. The brackets are made of 3 mm thick steel and produced in accordance with FIA Appendix J. They are intended for motorsport cars and for cars built in track style.

Whether you are building a drift car, rally car, time attack car or a car for the quarter mile: a bucket seat is only safe when it is rock solid. These simple and very strong brackets form the basis for that. There are no complicated adjustment mechanisms that can start to rattle: just sturdy, bent steel.

Installation and delivery

The brackets are bolted to either side of the bucket seat and then fixed to the floor, the original seat rails or a seat platform. With the row of holes you choose how high and at what angle the seat sits. Use proper bolts of the correct strength class for the mounting, and check that the seat really has no play after tightening.

If you drive a BMW E30, E36 or E46, the brackets connect to our aluminium seat platforms. This also lets you move the seat lengthways and sideways and position it exactly behind the steering wheel.
