Description
AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage Nissan 350Z Z33 Coupé V4 NASCAR door
The Multipoint 350Z V4 NASCAR is a full roll cage for the Nissan 350Z with the Z33 chassis in 3-door Coupé bodywork, and the most expensive and most comprehensively equipped item AST offers for this model. It brings together ten welded mounting points, NASCAR-style door bars, an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar behind the seats.
AST specifies this version explicitly for drift use. That explains the choice of several curved tubes per door instead of a single straight bar: in drifting, the impact almost always comes from the side.
The cage arrives as a weld-in kit, with tubes bent to size, gussets and reinforcement plates in 3 mm steel.
Key benefits
- Ten welded mounting points plus NASCAR door bars, the most substantial drift build for the Z33.
- Harness bar behind the seats for a correct anchorage point for your harnesses.

- Several curved tubes per door for protection over the full height of the door.
- 45 mm main hoop in E355 steel, other tubes in 40 mm.
- Gussets included for all ten welded mounting points.
- Designed for each individual car after digitisation with laser scanners.
- 71 kg according to AST.

Fitting and delivery
The cage is built to order, with a delivery time of 15 to 35 working days. This is the most extensive build in the entire 350Z range: ten welded mounting points, door openings filled with bars and a harness bar that has to be matched to the seat position. Work with a fabricator who builds cages regularly, plan for a complete interior strip-out and bear in mind that trim and insulation will not go back in at several points.
The most substantial cage AST builds for the Z33, designed for the discipline where contact is the norm.
Why choose this Multipoint 350Z V4 NASCAR roll cage?
For a car that runs tandems every weekend, this is the end of the list of options. You get the most rigid anchorage, the best side protection and a harness bar that keeps your harnesses at the right height, all in one package that AST has measured up on your bodyshell. What you pay here over the regular multipoint V4 goes entirely into the doors, and that is exactly where you take the hits in drifting.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from the regular multipoint V4?
This Multipoint 350Z V4 NASCAR has NASCAR door bars, i.e. several curved tubes per door, whereas the regular multipoint V4 has one straight door bar per side.
Is this the most expensive roll cage for the 350Z?
Within the AST range for the Z33 Coupé, this is the most expensive item and, at the same time, the most substantial drift build.
Can I attach my harness to the harness bar?
That is exactly what the bar is designed for. Follow your harness manufacturer’s instructions and the angles permitted by your sporting regulations.
Will the cage fit a car with a sunroof?
No. This version is designed for a roof without a sunroof and without headlining.
Is this roll cage homologated?
AST does not state a homologation number for this item. The cage is intended for track and competition use; always check your own organiser’s regulations before you enter an event.
What is the delivery time?
