The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW G87 Coupé V5 with NASCAR door bars is a full roll cage for the BMW 2 Series G87 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Weld-in G87 Coupé V5 NASCAR combines the complete set of bars with several curved tubes in the door instead of the standard door bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who are taking their G87 to the limit and want to leave nothing to chance when it comes to side impacts.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so it fits your car exactly. This is the most extensive version in the range: the complete set of bars plus NASCAR tubes in both doors, so the interior trim and door cards have to come out completely. The G87 is a modern car with a lot of electronics and airbags, so plan the fitting carefully, disconnect the battery and protect the wiring before any welding is done. This cage is intended for track and competition use; check the regulations of your own motorsport organisation beforehand.
