The DS series is BC Racing’s track-focused coilover kit. For the MX-5 NC it is intended for drivers who regularly do a track day and want a car that stays tight and composed, even as the pace goes up.

The digressive piston damps more firmly at low piston speeds, between 0 and 50 mm/s. As a result the body moves less on turn-in, braking and acceleration. You set the damping in 30 clicks and adjust the ride height independently of the spring preload.

Fitting and delivery

This vehicle-specific kit replaces the NC’s original dampers and springs. We advise having it fitted by an experienced mechanic and then having the wheel alignment adjusted, because camber and toe change along with the height.
