The BC Racing BR coilover kit E90 E92 (part number I-03-BR-RA) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the BMW 3 Series E90 Sedan and E92 Coupe with rear-wheel drive, excluding the M3, model years 2005 to 2011. The spring rate is 5.5 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear.

The BR series is the all-round coilover kit from BC Racing, intended for an E90 or E92 that is driven daily and does the occasional track day or autocross. Monotube dampers with a linear piston and 30 clicks of damping adjustment make the kit suitable for a wide range of uses.

With 5.5 kg/mm front and 8 kg/mm rear, the 3 Series remains very usable on the road, while sitting more firmly on the road than on tired original dampers. You set the ride height via the damper body, independently of the spring preload, so you lower the car without changing the preload on the springs.

Fitting and delivery

The kit is vehicle-specific and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend having it fitted by an experienced mechanic. On some cars the pillowball top mount at the front requires a small modification to the upper mounting; if in doubt, contact us. After setting the ride height, have the wheel alignment adjusted again, because camber and toe change as well. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing temporarily has the kit out of stock, you can still order and we will let you know the expected delivery date.
