Volkswagen Passat 3C / CC V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston

With the big brake kit Passat 3C from V-Maxx, the Volkswagen Passat, Passat Variant or CC (3C/CC) gets 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium on the front axle. The kit fits cars with Ø50 mm and with Ø55 mm front shock absorbers.

This version is intended for all versions up to 155 kW and up to 2200 kg axle load, and already fits behind 17 inch wheels. That makes it the entry point into the V-Maxx kits for the Passat 3C; for more braking power, there are 355 and 365 mm kits with 6-piston calipers.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer. Sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters are included, and with the TÜV certificate according to §19.3 the kit is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The big brake kit Passat 3C is intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and do not use wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Optionally, you can choose a different caliper colour: black, blue or yellow instead of the standard red (RAL 3020), at extra cost. Also available: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 620 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

The kW limits in the application list refer to the original factory output, and with an officially approved power upgrade the TÜV approval remains valid.

Is there also a V-Maxx kit for the rear axle?

No. V-Maxx only makes kits for the front axle, because that is where about 90% of the braking power is delivered.
