Description

The MTS Street Boxster Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Porsche Boxster, model years 1996 to 2004. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.

On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Key benefits

  • Stainless steel damper bodies, resistant to road salt and moisture
  • Lower by 10 to 45 mm, front and rear independently adjustable
  • Eibach springs of 50 N/mm front and 40 N/mm rear
  • Gas-oil twin-tube dampers that stay stable even under intensive use
  • hexaCOIL spring perch: the adjusting nut does not seize up during adjustment
  • 2 year warranty with no mileage limit

Suitable for

The MTS Street Boxster Inox fits the following versions:

  • Porsche Boxster (type 986, 09/1996 to 12/2004): 2.5, 2.7, S 3.2

Note: axle load: maximum 775 kg front and maximum 940 kg rear; check your car’s vehicle type plate.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS Street Boxster Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

  • The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
  • When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
  • After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Delivery: 4 to 7 working days while manufacturer stock lasts.

The MTS Street Boxster Inox combines stainless steel damper bodies, Eibach springs of 50 and 40 N/mm and up to 45 mm of lowering for the Porsche Boxster.

Why choose the MTS Street Boxster Inox?

With the MTS Street Boxster Inox you choose the setup MTS Technik itself recommends as standard: enough lowering for a tight stance, and a character that doesn’t become tiring on the road. If you also drive in winter or the car is parked outside, the Inox version pays for itself: stainless steel doesn’t rust, so the thread of the height adjustment doesn’t seize up. If you mainly drive in summer, the Gold version is a more affordable alternative.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Street and Stance?

All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Street (50 and 40 N/mm). Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.

What is the difference between Gold and Inox?

Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.

How long does delivery take?

The MTS Street Boxster Inox is delivered within 4 to 7 working days as long as the manufacturer has stock.

Delivery outside the European Union: different shipping costs may apply. Don’t worry: we will email you as soon as possible after your order and agree the shipping with you. You are not committed to anything without your consent.
