The MTS Kadett E is a height-adjustable weld-in insert kit (coilover) from MTS Technik for the Opel Kadett E, model years 1984 to 1993. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness.

On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised. This is a weld-in insert kit: the original front struts are shortened and welded.

Fitting and delivery

To fit the MTS Kadett E, the original front struts are shortened and welded as described in the manual. Have this done by an experienced mechanic or welder.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.
