Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street Mini R56 Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- After fitting the MTS Street Mini R56 Gold, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.
Delivery: 4 to 7 working days while manufacturer stock lasts.
The MTS Street Mini R56 Gold combines zinc-plated damper bodies, Eibach springs of 40 and 60 N/mm and up to 55 mm of lowering for the Mini R56/R55/R57/R58.
Why choose the MTS Street Mini R56 Gold?
With the MTS Street Mini R56 Gold you choose the setup MTS Technik itself recommends as standard: enough lowering for a tight stance, and a character that doesn’t become tiring on the road. The Gold version is the most affordable way to get an MTS Technik coilover kit, with a zinc coating that protects well against rust. If you also drive in winter, take a look at the Inox version with stainless steel damper bodies.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Street and Stance?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Street (40 and 60 N/mm) and Stance (80 and 80 N/mm). Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
How long does delivery take?
The MTS Street Mini R56 Gold is delivered within 4 to 7 working days as long as the manufacturer has stock.
