BMW E92 E90 E87 E82 Uniball Rear Top Mounts

These E90 uniball rear top mounts are a set of aluminium top mounts with uniball for the rear shock absorber mounting of the BMW 1 Series and 3 Series, from the E81 up to and including the E93. The manufacturer calls it the lower cushion of the rear shock absorber mount. Instead of a rubber bearing, the shock absorber runs in a spherical joint here, which gives a direct and confident driving feel on straights and in corners.

The set has been developed for drifting, club and rally sport, stance projects and powerful road cars. You get two E90 uniball rear top mounts: one for the left and one for the right.

Installation and delivery

The E90 uniball rear top mounts take the place of the original mounts with OE numbers 33 52 6 768 544 and 33 52 6 772 811. Use the supplied spacer bushes so that the bearing can move freely over its whole range. Check that the mounting bolts and the nut on the shock absorber rod are properly tightened.

A uniball gives more feedback than rubber, so you feel more of the road. Check the bearings for play after the first drives and regularly after that, especially with intensive track or drift use. Have the wheel alignment checked after the swap.
