The AST Removable Half Roll Cage BMW E92 Coupé V1 is a half roll cage for the BMW 3 Series E92 with two-door Coupé bodywork. This removable half cage E92 Coupé V1 is the base version with main hoop and backstays, built around the rear compartment and removable from the car again thanks to the connecting sleeves.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who use their E92 Coupé seriously on track but do not want to turn the car permanently into a stripped-out racer.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The four foot plates are welded to the floor pan of the E92, after which the cage is bolted onto them. Have this welding done by a skilled fitter, because the quality of those welds determines how the cage behaves in an impact.

Can I really take this cage out again?

Yes. The removable half cage E92 Coupé V1 is made up of sections that are joined by connecting sleeves and bolted to four foot plates. The foot plates themselves stay in the car because they are welded in; the tubular structure is what you take out.

What exactly will I receive?

You receive the welded structure, the connecting sleeves, the reinforcement plates, the complete mounting hardware with bolts, washers and nuts, the documentation, the fitting instructions and the sticker set. Everything is unpainted.

What if my car has a sunroof or headlining?

When ordering, please state whether your car has a sunroof and whether the headlining will stay in place, and AST will tailor the roll cage accordingly.
