The BC Racing ZX coilover kit RX-7 FC (part number N-06-ZX) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the Mazda RX-7 FC3S, model years 1985 to 1991. The spring rate is 8 kg/mm front and 6 kg/mm rear.
The ZX series combines BC Racing’s DS and ER in a 3-way adjustable kit with an external reservoir. For the RX-7 FC it is intended for competitive track use, long sessions and demanding drift work.
You adjust low-speed compression in 20 clicks, high-speed compression in 12 clicks and rebound in 30 clicks. The upright monotube dampers with dual piston use racing oil with an ultra-high viscosity index, and the damping is digressive. The springs are the same as those of the DS kit for the FC; the difference lies mainly in the dampers.
