The BC Racing DS coilover kit AE86 (part number C-211-DS-DA) is a coilover kit adjustable in height and damping, also simply called a coilover, for the rear-wheel drive Toyota Corolla AE86, model years 1983 to 1987, in the version without spindle (W/O SPINDLE). The spring rate is 6 kg/mm front and 4.5 kg/mm rear.

If you take the AE86 on track more than once a year, you soon end up with the DS series. BC Racing gives these dampers a digressive piston, which damps more firmly at low piston speeds of 0 to 50 mm/s, and a satin chrome damper body.

Fitting and delivery

The DS kit is made specifically for this AE86 and replaces the original dampers and springs. We recommend leaving the fitting to an experienced mechanic. On some cars the pillowball top mount at the front requires a small modification to the upper mounting; if in doubt, contact us. After setting the ride height, a new wheel alignment is needed. The delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks as long as the manufacturer has stock. If BC Racing does not have it in stock at that moment, you can still order and we will let you know the delivery date.

Does the BC Racing DS without spindle fit every Toyota Corolla AE86?

No, BC Racing only approves this kit for the rear-wheel drive AE86 from 1983 to 1987 in the version without spindle, without exceptions by body style. For the version with spindle there is the DS kit C-14-DS-DA.
