Fiat Punto V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston

This big brake kit Fiat Punto is a V-Maxx performance brake kit for the front axle of the Fiat Punto from January 2012, with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium.

The kit is intended for all Punto versions from 49 to 99 kW. Whether you are building up the car for the track or want more braking reserve on the road: the biggest gain lies in braking performance that stays consistent under repeated hard braking. That comes from the aluminium calipers, brackets and bells, which dissipate heat much faster than steel.

The kit is supplied ready to fit, with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect. V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer; the kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and a 2-year warranty.

Fitting and delivery

A brake system calls for careful fitting. Fit the big brake kit Fiat Punto according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and use the tightening torques stated in them. The kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles.

Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks aluminium; a mild soap is sufficient. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Optionally, you can choose a different caliper colour (red RAL 3020 as standard, black, blue or yellow at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses 460 mm (set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads without TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Can I keep using my original brake hoses?

Yes. The vehicle-specific adapters are made for the original rubber brake hoses. If you want steel braided brake hoses, V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval are available as an option.
