With this big brake kit Golf 5 from V-Maxx, you equip the front axle of a Golf V, Golf VI, Jetta III, Eos or Scirocco III with 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is ready to fit: sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original brake hoses are included.

On a track day, the original brakes of these models quickly overheat under repeated hard braking. The V-Maxx kit gives more braking power and much less fade.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer. The kit comes with a 2-year warranty and a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Clean the brake kit with mild soap and not with wheel cleaner, as it attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available as options: a different caliper colour (black, blue or yellow at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads (without TÜV approval). Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

This 330 mm kit fits all the models listed. For more braking performance, there are 6-piston kits of 355 and 365 mm: 20 VW355 07 and 20 VW365 07 (Golf 5), 20 VW355 08 and 20 VW365 08 (Golf 6), 20 VW355 10 and 20 VW365 10 (Scirocco 3).
