Hyundai i20 GB V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 330 mm 4-piston

This big brake kit i20 GB is the largest V-Maxx front brake kit for the Hyundai i20 (GB/IB) and combines 330 mm two-piece brake discs with 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. It is intended for anyone who wants to get the maximum out of the i20’s brakes, on the track and on the road.

The larger disc provides more braking torque, and because the caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium, heat is dissipated quickly under repeated hard braking. That means a firm pedal and much less fade during a track day. The kit comes ready to fit with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty. With the TÜV certificate according to §19.3, the kit is approved for use on public roads. The calipers are red (RAL 3020) as standard.

Fitting and delivery

You fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The big brake kit i20 GB only fits an i20 with original steering knuckles. Clean the brakes with mild soap: wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx advises removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Options: a different caliper colour (black, blue or yellow, at extra cost), V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (500 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads for the track. These DS pads have no TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
