Description
Volkswagen Touran 5T V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 365 mm 6-piston
The big brake kit Touran 5T 365 mm gives the Volkswagen Touran II (5T1) the largest brake kit in the V-Maxx range for this model, consisting of 365 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium for the front axle.
Choose this version if your Touran sits on 19 inch wheels or larger. More disc diameter means more braking torque, and the aluminium construction ensures that the kit gets rid of its heat quickly. You notice this above all when you have to brake hard several times in quick succession, for example with a fully loaded car or on a long descent.
The kit is suitable for the Touran II with an aluminium knuckle and Ø55 mm clamp, from 81 to 140 kW. V-Maxx supplies it complete with sport brake pads with TÜV approval and adapters for the original brake hoses, with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 for public roads and a 2-year warranty.

Fitting and delivery
Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and use the tightening torques from those instructions. The big brake kit Touran 5T 365 mm is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. Keep the brake kit clean with a mild soap; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium, so do not use it.
Available as options: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and the V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.
With 365 mm discs and six pistons per caliper, a Touran II brakes with the reserve you want with a fully loaded car and on a long descent.
Why choose this big brake kit Touran 5T 365 mm?
With an MPV, it is all about reserve and predictability. The big brake kit Touran 5T 365 mm delivers the highest braking torque V-Maxx makes for the Touran II, and thanks to the aluminium parts and the directional cooling channels, that braking power remains available under repeated hard braking. You fit a complete, TÜV-approved kit from a Dutch manufacturer, with a 2-year warranty.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 355 mm and 365 mm for the Touran 5T?
The big brake kit Touran 5T 365 mm has the largest disc and the most braking torque, but requires wheels of at least 19 inch. The 355 mm kit (20 VW355 04) fits from 18 inch, which makes it the choice for smaller wheels. Both have forged 6-piston calipers and TÜV approval.
Does the TÜV approval remain valid after a power upgrade?
Yes, provided the power upgrade is officially approved. The kW limits in the application list refer to the original output. The kit itself has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3.
Why do the pads click when I change direction of travel?
That is intentional. V-Maxx gives the brake pads 1 to 1.5 mm of play in the caliper, so they do not seize at high temperatures. When you change direction of travel, they move across that play, which produces a short click.
Do I need to modify the big brake kit Touran 5T 365 mm for track use?
V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers for heavy track use. Beyond that, with its aluminium parts and cooling channels, the kit is made to stay consistent under repeated hard braking.
What is the delivery time?
