Seat Ateca V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 365 mm 6-piston

With the big brake kit Ateca 365 mm, you equip the front axle of the Seat Ateca with 365 mm two-piece brake discs and 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium from V-Maxx. The kit is complete and ready to fit, with sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect.

The large disc acts as a long lever and provides a lot of braking torque, while the aluminium parts dissipate the heat quickly. The result is a firm pedal and much less fade under repeated hard braking, even in the versions up to 228 kW. The Dutch manufacturer V-Maxx Autosport supplies the kit with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, which means it is approved for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied. The brake kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles, which on the Ateca means the aluminium version with a Ø55 mm clamp. Clean the kit with a mild soap; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium and is therefore not suitable. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Optionally available: V-Maxx Steelflex brake hoses 620 mm (set of 2) for the front axle, with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Which version do I need: 355 or 365 mm?

Look at your wheels first. This 365 mm kit requires at least 19 inch and provides more braking torque thanks to the larger disc. With 18 inch wheels, the 355 mm kit (20 SE355 02) is the right choice. Both kits have 6-piston calipers and TÜV approval.

Am I allowed to use the big brake kit Ateca 365 mm on the road?

Yes. The big brake kit Ateca 365 mm has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is approved for use on public roads, even with an officially approved power upgrade. The kW limits in the application list refer to the original output.

Does the kit fit every Ateca?
