BMW F32 / F33 / F36 4 Series V-Maxx Big Brake Kit 365 mm 6-piston

With the big brake kit F32 365 mm, you fit the largest V-Maxx brake kit to the front axle of your BMW 4 Series F32, F33 or F36: 365 mm two-piece brake discs with 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit comes complete, with sport brake pads and vehicle-specific adapters to which the original rubber brake hoses connect.

This version is intended for the powerful 4 Series on 19 inch or larger wheels, and for versions with factory-fitted M Sport brakes. If you regularly go to track days or like to drive your car hard, you will notice above all that the pedal keeps feeling the same after a series of hard stops. V-Maxx Autosport from the Netherlands supplies the kit with a TÜV certificate according to §19.3, so it is also approved for use on public roads.

These are the same applications as for the 355 mm kit (20 BM355 05), but this kit requires at least 19 inch wheels. Not suitable for the M4. Always check the clearance with the fitment template (WFC, Wheel Fitment Chart); a wheel spacer is sometimes required.

Fitting and delivery

When fitting, follow the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and the tightening torques stated in them. The kit only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner on the brake kit, as it attacks the aluminium; clean it with mild soap. For heavy track sessions, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Optional: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (PTFE inner hose, with TÜV approval), Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Why choose this big brake kit F32 365?

With 365 mm discs and six pistons per caliper, this is the heaviest V-Maxx kit for the 4 Series, but the biggest gain lies in heat dissipation. Caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium, which conducts heat about five times better than steel, and the directional cooling channels draw the heat out of the disc. As a result, the kit cools down quickly and keeps braking consistently under repeated hard braking. If your F32, F33 or F36 already runs on 19 inch wheels, this is the kit that makes the best use of the available space.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the 355 and the 365 mm kit?

They fit the same versions and both have 6-piston calipers. The big brake kit F32 365 mm has larger discs and requires wheels of at least 19 inch, while the 355 mm kit already fits behind 18 inch.

Does the kit fit behind my wheels?

You need wheels of at least 19 inch. Always check with the fitment template (WFC) whether the wheel has enough clearance; in some cases a wheel spacer is required.

Is it normal for the brake pads to click?

Yes. The pads deliberately have 1 to 1.5 mm of play in the caliper so that they do not seize when hot. As a result, you hear a short click when you change direction of travel.

Can I take this kit on the track?

Yes, that is what the kit was developed for. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.
