The MTS Comfort Polo 6R Gold is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Volkswagen Polo 6R, Audi A1 8X, Seat Ibiza 6J and Skoda Fabia 2/3, model years 2008 to 2022. Comfort is the softest MTS Technik setup: lower and firmer than standard, with as much ride comfort as possible.
On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Comfort Polo 6R Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
- After fitting the MTS Comfort Polo 6R Gold, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

What is the difference between Comfort and Street?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (50 and 17-37.5 N/mm) and Street (60 and 17-37.5 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
