Description
The MTS Street Polo 6R Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Volkswagen Polo 6R, Audi A1 8X, Seat Ibiza 6J and Skoda Fabia 2/3, model years 2008 to 2022. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.
On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street Polo 6R Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
- After fitting the MTS Street Polo 6R Inox, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.
Delivery: 4 to 7 working days while manufacturer stock lasts.
The MTS Street Polo 6R Inox combines stainless steel damper bodies, Eibach springs of 60 and 17-37.5 N/mm and up to 60 mm of lowering for the Volkswagen Polo 6R, Audi A1 8X, Seat Ibiza 6J and Skoda Fabia 2/3.
Why choose the MTS Street Polo 6R Inox?
With the MTS Street Polo 6R Inox you choose the setup MTS Technik itself recommends as standard: enough lowering for a tight stance, and a character that doesn’t become tiring on the road. If you also drive in winter or the car is parked outside, the Inox version pays for itself: stainless steel doesn’t rust, so the thread of the height adjustment doesn’t seize up. If you mainly drive in summer, the Gold version is a more affordable alternative.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Comfort and Street?
All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (50 and 17-37.5 N/mm) and Street (60 and 17-37.5 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
How long does delivery take?
The MTS Street Polo 6R Inox is delivered within 4 to 7 working days as long as the manufacturer has stock.
