The MTS Street C-klasse W205 Gold is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Mercedes C-klasse W205/S205/C205/A205, model years 2013 to 2023. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.

On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised.

Note for the MTS Street C-klasse W205 Gold: not suitable for versions with four-wheel drive (4MATIC). Only for cars without level control (NIVO) or factory air suspension. Not suitable for the AMG versions. Axle load: maximum 1150 kg front and maximum 1245 kg rear; check your car’s vehicle type plate.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS Street C-klasse W205 Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
• After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (4MATIC) version?

No. The MTS Street C-klasse W205 Gold is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions.

What is the difference between Gold and Inox?

Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
