Description
The MTS Street Focus 2 Gold is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Ford Focus 2 and Volvo C30 / S40 II / V50, from model year 2003. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.
On the Gold version, the steel parts have a yellow zinc coating and the aluminium parts are black anodised.

Note for the MTS Street Focus 2 Gold: not suitable for versions with four-wheel drive (AWD). Axle load: maximum 1110 kg front and maximum 1165 kg rear; check your car’s vehicle type plate.

Fitting and delivery
The MTS Street Focus 2 Gold replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.
- The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
- When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
- Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
- After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.
Delivery: 4 to 7 working days while manufacturer stock lasts.

Frequently asked questions
Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (AWD) version?
No. The MTS Street Focus 2 Gold is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions.
What is the difference between Gold and Inox?
Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.
