The MTS Street A4 B5 Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the Audi A4 B5, model years 1994 to 2002. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.

On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Note: not suitable for versions with four-wheel drive (quattro). Only for cars without electronically controlled damping. Axle load: 1081 to 1150 kg front and maximum 1185 kg rear; check your car’s vehicle type plate.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS Street A4 B5 Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (quattro) version?

No. The MTS Street A4 B5 Inox is not suitable for the four-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate sets for that.

What is the difference between Comfort, Street and Stance?

All versions use the same dampers; the difference lies in the Eibach springs and the lowering range: Comfort (122 and 35 N/mm), Street (150 and 35 N/mm) and Stance (200 and 50 N/mm). Comfort is the softest. Street is the standard. Stance is the firmest and the lowest.
