The MTS Street F23 Inox is a height-adjustable coilover kit from MTS Technik for the BMW F23 Cabrio, model years 2014 to 2021. Street is the standard setup from MTS Technik: a good balance between comfort and firmness, for daily use and the occasional track day or drift day.

On the Inox version, the damper bodies are made of stainless steel, so road salt and moisture don’t stand a chance.

Note: not suitable for versions with four-wheel drive (xDrive). Only for cars without level control (NIVO) or factory air suspension. Axle load: maximum 1005 kg front and maximum 1230 kg rear; check your car’s vehicle type plate.

Fitting is also possible on cars with electronically adjustable damping; that system must then be disabled.

Fitting and delivery

The MTS Street F23 Inox replaces the original dampers and springs and fits on the original mounting points.

• The stated lowering applies relative to the standard suspension. If the car has a factory sport suspension, the lowering will be smaller.
• When fitting, check the clearance between tyre or wheel and the strut: at least 5 mm. If it is less, use approved wheel spacers.
• Tip for adjusting the rear: remove the height adjuster, set the spring seat to the new position and refit the adjuster.
• After lowering, have the wheel alignment checked, because camber and toe change as well.

Frequently asked questions

Does this kit also fit a four-wheel-drive (xDrive) version?

No. The MTS Street F23 Inox is made for the rear-wheel-drive versions. MTS Technik has separate kits for the xDrive versions.

What is the difference between Gold and Inox?

Gold has steel damper bodies with a yellow zinc coating, Inox has stainless steel damper bodies. Inox is more resistant to road salt and moisture and therefore costs more. Otherwise, the kits are identical.

How long does delivery take?
