With the big brake kit Citroën C4, you equip the front axle of a C4, C4 Picasso or Grand C4 Picasso with a complete V-Maxx performance brake kit: 330 mm two-piece brake discs and 4-piston calipers made of forged aluminium. The kit is supplied ready to fit, including V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and vehicle-specific adapters for the original rubber brake hoses.

A fully loaded MPV or a powerful C4 places high demands on the brakes, especially under repeated hard braking. The big brake kit Citroën C4 gives more braking torque and dissipates heat much faster, so fade sets in much later.

V-Maxx Autosport is a Dutch manufacturer and gives a 2-year warranty on the kit. The TÜV certificate according to §19.3 makes the brake kit suitable for use on public roads.

Fitting and delivery

Fit the big brake kit Citroën C4 according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied and use the tightening torques stated in them. The kit is only intended for cars with original steering knuckles. A mild soap is all you need for cleaning; wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium and must not be used on the brake kit.

Available options are V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (460 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml), a V-Maxx wear indicator set, a different caliper colour (black, blue or yellow at extra cost instead of the standard red RAL 3020) and an extra set of Ferodo FDSR216 DS Performance brake pads, which do not have TÜV approval. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

Whether the Grand C4 Picasso is fully loaded or the C4 is out on the track: with 330 mm discs and aluminium 4-piston calipers, the braking power holds up.
