For the Audi Q3 F3, this big brake kit Q3 F3 365 mm is the largest brake kit in the V-Maxx range: 365 mm two-piece brake discs with forged 6-piston calipers on the front axle. The kit fits all Q3 F3 versions from 77 to 228 kW with an aluminium steering knuckle, behind wheels from 19 inch.

The large disc increases the lever with which the brake pads work, and that results in more braking torque for the same pedal pressure. Together with the aluminium caliper, bracket and bell, which dissipate heat much faster than steel, the kit keeps braking consistently, even under repeated hard braking from high speed. Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied, including the tightening torques. The kit is only suitable for cars with original steering knuckles, in this case the aluminium knuckle with Ø55 mm clamp. Clean the brake kit with mild soap, as wheel cleaner attacks the aluminium. For heavy track use, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Available as an option: V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2) with PTFE inner hose and TÜV approval, Ferodo brake fluid (500 ml) and a V-Maxx wear indicator set. Delivery time: 4 to 7 days.

How does it differ from the 355 mm kit for the Q3 F3?

The big brake kit Q3 F3 365 mm (20 AU365 04) has a larger disc and more braking torque and requires wheels of at least 19 inch. The 355 mm kit (20 AU355 04) already fits from 18 inch. Both have forged 6-piston calipers and the same application.

Does V-Maxx also have a kit for the rear axle?

No. V-Maxx only supplies kits for the front axle; about 90% of the braking power comes from the front axle.

Can I use the big brake kit Q3 F3 365 mm on the road?

Yes. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3. The kit also remains approved with an officially approved power upgrade; the kW limits in the application list refer to the original output.
