This big brake kit T-Roc 365 mm is the largest brake kit V-Maxx makes for the Volkswagen T-Roc (A11): 365 mm two-piece brake discs with 6-piston calipers made of forged aluminium on the front axle. The kit is intended for drivers who want to get the most out of the brakes of their T-Roc, on the road and at track days.

A larger disc gives more braking torque, and because the caliper, bracket and bell are made of aluminium, the kit gets rid of heat quickly. It comes with V-Maxx sport brake pads with TÜV approval and the vehicle-specific adapters, to which the original rubber brake hoses connect. Fitting and delivery

Fit the kit according to the V-Maxx fitting instructions supplied, including the specified tightening torques. The big brake kit T-Roc 365 mm only fits cars with original steering knuckles. Do not use wheel cleaner for cleaning, as it attacks the aluminium; a mild soap is sufficient.

The kit can be extended with V-Maxx Steelflex steel braided brake hoses for the front axle (620 mm, set of 2, PTFE inner hose, with TÜV approval), Ferodo Super Formula brake fluid (500 ml) and the V-Maxx wear indicator set. The delivery time is 4 to 7 days.

Which version do I need: 355 mm or 365 mm?

That is mainly determined by your wheel size. The big brake kit T-Roc 365 mm requires wheels of at least 19 inch and gives the most braking torque thanks to the larger disc. If you drive on 18 inch wheels, choose the 355 mm kit with part number 20 VW355 05. Both versions have 6-piston calipers and TÜV approval.

Can I use the big brake kit T-Roc 365 mm on public roads?

Yes. The kit has a TÜV certificate according to §19.3 and is therefore approved for use on public roads. That remains the case after an officially approved power upgrade, because the kW limits in the application list refer to the original output.

Can I use the kit on the track?

Yes. The aluminium parts and the directional cooling channels keep the temperature under control, so the braking performance stays consistent even after a series of hard stops. If you regularly use the car hard on the track, V-Maxx recommends removing the dust seals from the calipers.

Does V-Maxx also supply a big brake kit for the rear axle?

No, V-Maxx does not supply kits for the rear axle. About 90% of the braking power comes from the front axle, and that is exactly where this kit goes.
