BMW E36 Dual Caliper Brackets, Bolt-On Version for Hydraulic Handbrake

With these E36 dual caliper brackets you fit a second brake caliper to each rear wheel of your BMW E36, specifically for a hydraulic handbrake. This way the handbrake works through its own caliper, independently of your footbrake.

The set consists of two brackets, for left and right, and is bolted onto the control arm. No welding is required: you secure the bolts with threadlocker. The required bolts are included. Please note: these brackets require the rear axle ABS sensor to be removed. Suitable for the E36 with rear disc brakes, except the Compact.

Fitting and delivery

First remove the ABS sensor on the rear axle. Then bolt the brackets onto the control arm and secure the bolts with threadlocker. On some control arm versions, the control arm or the bracket needs to be ground down slightly. If you use vented brake discs, the brake pads of the additional caliper may not contact the disc over its full surface. This does not affect how it works.
