Mishimoto BMW E30/E36 M3 Aluminium Radiator 88-99

The Mishimoto radiator MMRAD-E36-92 is the all-aluminium performance radiator for the BMW E30 325i, the E36 6-cylinder models and the E36 M3 from 1988 to 1999. The original radiators have plastic end tanks that crack or leak after years of use; Mishimoto replaces them with TIG-welded aluminium tanks on a brazed dual core, delivering superior heat dissipation, more cooling capacity and a much longer service life.

On the E36 M3 the radiator is plug-and-play. On non-M E30/E36 6-cylinder models without an integrated expansion tank, you need an external coolant reservoir: the Meyle expansion tank 17111723520, the return hose 11531740649 and vent adapter 17111723031, all available in our range or from BMW.

The radiator is suitable for manual and automatic gearboxes, has mounting points for the original automatic transmission cooler and a magnetic drain plug with Dowty seal that captures metal particles from the cooling system. Mishimoto backs it with a lifetime warranty.

Fitting and delivery

Drain the system, remove the original radiator and fit the Mishimoto on the original mounting points. On an M3 you connect it directly; on a non-M 6-cylinder you also fit the external expansion tank, the return hose and the vent adapter. Fill, bleed and check for leaks. Allow three hours of work.
