This BMW FIA seat mount is a platform of black anodised aluminium on which you mount a bucket seat in the BMW 1 Series and 3 Series of the E8x and E9x generation. The platform forms the base under the side mounts of the seat. Thanks to the many screw holes, you choose the position of the seat yourself.

Installation and delivery

The BMW FIA seat mount goes on the floor of the car. You attach the side mounts of the bucket seat to it, and the seat itself goes on those side mounts. First find a seating position in which you hold the steering wheel with slightly bent arms and can press the pedals all the way down. Then choose the holes that match that position.

Use bolts of a good strength class and tighten them to the correct torque. After the first track day, check again that everything is tight. If you combine the seat with a racing harness, also pay attention to the correct angle of the shoulder straps.
