This V2 version of the Alpinestars GP Pro Comp racing suit has been developed to meet the stringent FIA 8856-2018 homologation for increased flame and heat protection. Alpinestars has surpassed this requirement while maintaining the light weight and superior comfort levels associated with the brand.

This brand new suit features an outer layer developed exclusively for Alpinestars for optimal protection with light weight and exceptional heat and flame protection. A soft aramid knit lining has an open weave for optimal comfort. Combined with stretch mesh panels, this provides increased breathability and better body temperature regulation.

A first for Alpinestars is the addition of silicone grip technology on the shoulders and lower back. This reduces the movement of an FHR device and helps prevent body movement in the seat area. Another addition to the suit is a Formula 1 cable opening with a self-closing flap for connecting communication cables or cooling vest hoses. Full-floating sleeves and stretch mesh panels at the lower back and crotch add flexibility, and a high, ribbed collar further increases comfort levels.
