The AST Bolt-in Roll Cage BMW E30 Sedan AWD V3 is a full roll cage for the all-wheel-drive BMW 3 Series E30, the 325iX, with 4-door saloon bodywork. In addition to the front reinforcement bars, this Bolt-in E30 Sedan AWD V3 also has door bars in both doors and is designed for the all-wheel-drive E30 (325iX).

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for 325iX drivers who compete and for whom side protection is just as important as rollover protection.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The door bars make getting in and out tighter, so decide on the position of your bucket seat and the door card beforehand. The six foot plates are welded to the bodyshell, and only once they are secured is the cage bolted onto them.

Rallying and gravel mean contact from the side, and that is exactly where the door bars of the V3 do their job.

Why choose this Bolt-in E30 Saloon AWD V3 roll cage?

A 325iX is often used on surfaces where it is easier to slide sideways off the road. Door bars absorb that impact before the bodywork is pushed inwards. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so the bars sit as close to the door as possible while you can still get in and out of the car.

Can I fit this cage in a rear-wheel-drive E30?

No. The Bolt-in E30 Sedan AWD V3 is made for the all-wheel-drive E30 (325iX) and follows the floor and transmission tunnel of that version. For a rear-wheel-drive E30 saloon, order the RWD version.

How reliable is the fit?

AST scans the bodyshell with laser scanners and then designs the cage in 3D for exactly this 325iX bodyshell. As a result, the tubes run tightly along the pillars and there is no need for trial fitting and cutting on site.
