The AST Bolt-in Roll Cage BMW E36 Touring V1 is a full roll cage for the BMW 3 Series (E36) with 5-door Touring bodywork. This Bolt-in Touring V1 is attached to the bodyshell with bolts and FIA connecting sleeves, making it fully removable.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain and is intended for drifting, track use and rallying, where you want to be able to take the cage out from time to time without welding to the bodyshell.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly. Fitting requires experience with roll cages and may call for modifications to interior parts. Have the cage fitted by a mechanic who has installed cages before.

Yes. The Bolt-in Touring V1 is removable via FIA connecting sleeves, so it can be taken out again without damaging the bodyshell.

Does this cage also fit an E36 saloon or coupé?

No. This cage is made specifically for the 5-door Touring bodywork. For the saloon, coupé and Compact, AST Roll Cages offers separate versions.
