The AST Bolt-in Roll Cage BMW E46 Compact V4 is a full roll cage for the BMW E46 with 3-door Compact bodywork. This Bolt-in E46 Compact V4 is the heaviest version in the range: the full set of tubes, with all the reinforcements plus the door bars of the V3.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who get the most out of their Compact and refuse to compromise on the structure.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. This is the most extensive version, so allow plenty of time for fitting and strip the interior completely before having the foot plates welded in.

Why is this the heaviest version?

The Bolt-in E46 Compact V4 combines the reinforcements of the V2 with the door bars of the V3 and adds the remaining tubes to form the complete set. The bolt-in range goes no further than this.

Is there any room left for passengers?

A full cage with door bars and the complete set of reinforcements takes up a lot of the interior. Assume a stripped car with bucket seats; the standard trim and rear seats will not fit around it.
