This Bolt-in E46 V4 is the most comprehensive version in the range, with the full set of reinforcement bars, and is attached to the bodyshell at 6 points with bolts and FIA connecting sleeves.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. This is the most complete version, so expect the longest fitting time of the four versions and finish the six mounting points carefully.

If you drive seriously, at some point you no longer want to choose between rigidity and reversibility. This version gives you the full set of reinforcement bars while keeping the bolt-in mounting at 6 points, so the cage can, in principle, come out again. Because AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, all the foot plates line up with the correct points, even on this full version.
