The AST Bolt-in Roll Cage BMW G80 Saloon V4 is a full roll cage for the BMW 3 Series G80 with 4-door saloon bodywork. This Bolt-in G80 Saloon V4 has a main hoop with backstays, reinforcement bars to the bulkhead, door bars and, on top of that, an extra diagonal bar and harness bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want a fully equipped cage that goes into the car in sections and can be removed again later.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The six foot plates are welded to the bodyshell and only then is the cage bolted onto them, so allow for welding and fitting work at a specialist workshop.

Does a bolt-in cage require welding?

Yes. The Bolt-in G80 Saloon V4 is bolted onto six foot plates, but those foot plates are themselves welded to the bodyshell. After that, only the cage itself is removable.

What is included in the kit?

The welded structure, connecting sleeves, reinforcement plates, bolts, washers and nuts, documentation, fitting instructions and a sticker set. The cage is unpainted so you can finish it in your own colour.

What should I bear in mind with a modern car like the G80?

The G80 is a modern car with a lot of electronics and airbag systems. Fitting a cage must therefore be planned carefully, in consultation with your fitter. This cage is intended for track and competition use; always check the regulations of your own organiser before ordering.
