The AST Half Roll Cage BMW E30 Coupé V1 is a half roll cage for the BMW E30 3 Series with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Half Roll Cage E30 Coupé V1 is the basic version: a main hoop with backstays that protects only the rear compartment. It is made for the rear-wheel-drive E30; a separate line is available for the all-wheel-drive 325iX.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drifters and track drivers who want to make the rear of their Coupé stiffer and safer without sacrificing the front interior.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so it fits your car exactly. Please bear in mind that the four foot plates are welded to the bodyshell; only then is the cage itself bolted onto those plates. Have that welding carried out by an experienced professional.

The V1 makes the rear of your E30 Coupé noticeably stiffer, without you having to strip out the front interior.

What exactly will I receive?

You receive the Half Roll Cage E30 Coupé V1 as a welded structure, together with the reinforcement plates, the bolts, washers and nuts, the documentation, fitting instructions and a sticker set. The cage is unpainted, so you can decide on the colour and paintwork yourself.

Will this cage fit my car without modification?
