The Half Roll Cage 280Z V1 is a half roll cage for the Nissan 280Z with the S30 chassis in 3-door coupé bodywork. This version is the entry point to the range: a main hoop behind the front seats with backstays running rearwards, fitted entirely in the rear compartment.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Please note that the four foot plates are welded to the bodyshell before the structure is bolted in place. Have this work carried out by an experienced fabricator. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly.

Is any welding required?

Yes. The four foot plates are welded to the bodyshell; the cage itself is then bolted onto those plates. So expect some welding during fitting.

What exactly will I receive?

You receive the welded structure, the reinforcement plates, the bolts, washers and nuts, the documentation, the fitting instructions and the sticker set. The cage is unpainted.

Is this roll cage homologated?

The manufacturer’s documentation for this item does not list a homologation number. The cage is intended for track and competition use; always check the regulations of your own organiser before you enter.

What if my car has headlining?
