The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E21 Coupé V4 NASCAR Door Bars is a full roll cage for the BMW 3 Series E21 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Multipoint E21 Coupé V4 NASCAR builds on the V3 and adds an extra diagonal brace and a harness bar, again with several curved tubes in the door instead of the standard door bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who are turning their E21 into a dedicated competition car and want the harness mounting neatly integrated into the cage.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The cage is welded to the bodyshell at ten points and is permanent from then on. Plan the position of your seat and harnesses before you start welding, as the harness bar partly determines how the shoulder straps run. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D so that it fits your car exactly.

With a harness bar and an extra diagonal, the cage also becomes the mounting point for your harness system.
