The AST multipoint weld-in roll cage (Multipoint Weld-In V3) with NASCAR door bars is a full, welded-in roll cage for the BMW 3 Series (E36) with 2-door coupé bodywork and rear-wheel drive, built to FIA Appendix J specifications. This version has an additional NASCAR-style door bar for extra side protection, as widely used in drifting. The structure is permanently welded to the bodyshell at 10 points for extra rigidity compared with the standard 8-point version, offering the highest achievable rigidity and safety for serious competition and track use.
