The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E46 Compact V1 is a full roll cage for the BMW E46 with 3-door Compact bodywork. This Multipoint E46 Compact V1 is the entry-level version of the multipoint range and is permanently welded to the bodyshell at 10 points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who are turning their Compact into a serious drift or track car and deliberately choose a welded foundation instead of a removable cage.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Welding in should be done by an experienced welder, as trim, insulation and cover panels must first be removed at the ten welded mounting points. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so it fits your car exactly.

The V1 is the most direct route to a welded-in ten-point cage in the E46 Compact, without bars you don’t need.
