The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E82 Coupé V3 NASCAR Door Bars is a full roll cage for the BMW 1 Series E82 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Multipoint E82 Coupé V3 NASCAR is welded to the bodyshell at ten points and has several curved tubes in the door instead of the standard door bar.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who put side protection first while also wanting to spread the forces into the bodyshell as widely as possible.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The door tubes extend into the door itself, so the door cards have to come out and the window mechanism must be checked. All ten welded mounting points must be bare metal and accessible before any welding starts. The cage is intended for track and competition use; check the regulations of your own governing body or organiser.
