AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW G82 Coupé V4

The AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage BMW G82 Coupé V4 is a full roll cage for the BMW 4 Series G82 with 2-door coupé bodywork. This Multipoint G82 Coupé V4 is welded to the bodyshell at ten points and therefore spreads the loads over more locations than a standard weld-in cage with eight welded mounting points.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want to push the rigidity of their G82 as far as possible and are prepared to accept a permanent structure to achieve it.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. With ten welded mounting points, there is more preparatory work on the sheet metal than with an eight-point cage, so expect a completely stripped-out interior. The G82 is a modern car with a lot of electronics and airbags, so plan the fitting carefully and have the trim, wiring and covers that need to come out identified in advance. Always check the regulations of your own sporting organisation.

No. The structure is permanently welded to the bodyshell. If you want something that can be removed, look at a bolt-in cage or a removable half roll cage.

No. This cage is exclusively for the 2-door coupé of the G82. The F82 is the predecessor and has its own cage from AST, which is not interchangeable; AST does not offer a convertible version for the G82.
