AST Multipoint Weld-in Roll Cage Nissan 370Z Z34 Coupé V4

The Multipoint 370Z V4 is a full roll cage for the Nissan 370Z with the Z34 chassis in 3-door coupé bodywork. The difference from the regular weld-in cage lies in the number of welded mounting points: ten instead of eight. As a result, the forces enter the bodyshell at more locations and the load per point stays lower.

The V4 comes with door bars, an extra diagonal brace in the main hoop and a harness bar for the shoulder straps, on top of the rear structure and the bars to the bulkhead.

AST designs the cage in 3D based on a laser scan of the car and supplies it as a weld-in kit with gussets, so that the ten welded mounting points land on reinforced panels.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order, with a delivery time of 15 to 35 working days. Ten welded mounting points require more preparation than eight: in some places trim or sound insulation has to come out, and sometimes a panel has to be opened to reach the point. A multipoint cage may require modifications to the interior, so bear that in mind if you still drive with a complete dashboard.
