The AST Removable Half Roll Cage BMW E30 Touring V1 is a half roll cage for the BMW 3 Series E30 with 5-door Touring bodywork. This removable half cage E30 Touring V1 fits the rear-wheel-drive E30 Touring and is the entry-level version of the range: a main hoop with braces that shields the rear compartment and can be taken out of the car again via connecting sleeves.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who take their Touring to the circuit or the drift track but want to keep the car usable the rest of the time.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The four foot plates are welded to the bodyshell, after which the cage itself is bolted onto those plates. Have the welding carried out by an experienced professional, as the positioning of the foot plates determines the strength of the whole assembly.

Does this cage fit an all-wheel-drive E30 325iX?

No. The removable half cage E30 Touring V1 is designed for the rear-wheel-drive E30 Touring. For the all-wheel-drive 325iX, there is a separate AWD version with its own part number.

What exactly will I receive?

You receive the welded structure with connecting sleeves, the reinforcement plates, all bolts, washers and nuts, the documentation, fitting instructions and a sticker set. The cage is supplied unpainted.

What if my car has a sunroof or headlining?

When ordering, please state whether your car has a sunroof and whether the headlining will stay in place, and AST will tailor the roll cage accordingly.

Where is the cage anchored at the rear?

You specify this when ordering: in the rear suspension area or at the wheel arch. AST builds the cage for the anchorage you choose.

What is the delivery time?

The standard delivery time for this roll cage is 15 to 35 working days.
