The AST Removable Half Roll Cage BMW F30 Saloon V2 is a half roll cage for the BMW 3 Series F30 with 4-door saloon bodywork. This removable half cage F30 Saloon V2 retains the main hoop with braces from the V1 and adds front reinforcement bars running to the bulkhead.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want more torsional rigidity without going straight to a full roll cage.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Allow for some extra fitting time compared with the V1, as the front bars have to be neatly fitted along the interior trim. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your car exactly.

The V2 stiffens the chassis all the way to the bulkhead and is still a cage you can take out again.

What is the difference from the V1?

The V1 is limited to the main hoop with braces at the rear. This removable half cage F30 Saloon V2 adds front reinforcement bars on top of that, running through to the bulkhead, which makes the car stiffer.

Does the cage really fit my car exactly?

AST scans the bodyshell of the F30 saloon with laser scanners and designs the cage around it in 3D. The foot plates are custom-designed for each car, so nothing has to be ground down when the cage is fitted.

What if my car has a sunroof or headlining?

When ordering, please state whether your car has a sunroof and whether the headlining will stay in place, and AST will tailor the roll cage accordingly.
