The AST Removable Roll Cage BMW E30 Saloon V1 is a full roll cage for the BMW E30 3 Series with 4-door saloon bodywork. This Removable Roll Cage E30 Saloon V1 is the basic version of the range, with a main hoop and braces that enclose both the front and rear compartments of the rear-wheel-drive E30. The structure sits on six bolting points on six welded foot plates and remains removable via connecting sleeves.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for E30 drivers who want full protection around the cabin without permanently converting their car into a pure race car.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The six foot plates are welded to the bodyshell by a specialist; the cage is then bolted onto those plates and can be taken out again via the connecting sleeves. For a full cage, most of the interior has to come out of the car, so allow for a few days’ work. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your E30 exactly.
