The AST Removable Roll Cage BMW E30 Saloon V3 is a full roll cage for the BMW E30 3 Series with 4-door saloon bodywork. This Removable Roll Cage E30 Saloon V3 has everything the V2 offers, including the front reinforcement bars to the bulkhead, and adds door bars for side protection of the rear-wheel-drive E30. The structure sits on six bolting points on six welded foot plates and remains removable via connecting sleeves.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want the highest specification in this range and spend a lot of time on track.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. The six foot plates are welded to the bodyshell by a specialist, after which the cage is bolted onto them. With the door bars, think ahead about getting in and out and about the space for your bucket seat and harness. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so that it fits your E30 exactly.

V3 is the complete package: all-round protection, front bars to the bulkhead and door bars alongside the driver.

What does V3 add compared with V2?

This Removable Roll Cage E30 Saloon V3 has door bars that the V2 does not have. Otherwise both versions are built the same way, with six bolting points on six welded foot plates and the front reinforcement bars to the bulkhead.

Does this cage fit an all-wheel-drive E30 325iX?

No, this version is made for the rear-wheel-drive E30 saloon. For the all-wheel-drive 325iX, AST offers a separate AWD version in its range.

Can I still get in and out normally with door bars fitted?

Getting in takes a little more effort than with a cage without door bars. Bear this in mind if you also use the car on the road; the cage is, however, fully removable.

What if my car has a sunroof?

When ordering, please state whether your car has a sunroof, and AST will tailor the roll cage accordingly.
