The AST Weld-in Roll Cage BMW E30 Touring AWD V1 is a full roll cage for the BMW 3 Series (E30) with 5-door Touring bodywork. This Weld-in E30 Touring AWD V1 is the base version with the main hoop and associated braces, and has been measured for the all-wheel-drive E30 (325iX); this cage does not fit a rear-wheel-drive E30.

The cage is designed and built by AST Roll Cages in Spain, for drivers who want to equip their 325iX Touring with a permanently welded-in safety structure without going straight for the heaviest bar package.

Fitting and delivery

The cage is built to order; the standard delivery time is 15 to 35 working days. Fitting is permanent and the welding should be done by a professional, as the quality of the welds at the eight points determines how the structure behaves in an impact. AST digitises the bodyshell with laser scanners and designs the cage in 3D, so it fits your car exactly.

Does this cage also fit a rear-wheel-drive E30 Touring?

No. The Weld-in E30 Touring AWD V1 has been measured exclusively for the all-wheel-drive E30, the 325iX. The front driveline and the associated floor and tunnel shape mean that the foot plates and bars do not line up on a rear-wheel-drive E30.

What exactly will I receive?

You receive an unpainted weld-in kit with the tubes, gussets and 3 mm reinforcement plates, plus bolts, washers and nuts, documentation, fitting instructions and a sticker set. You can do the painting and welding yourself or have your workshop do it.

Where is the cage anchored at the rear?

You specify this when ordering: in the rear suspension area or at the wheel arch. AST builds the cage for the anchorage you choose.

What is the delivery time?
